Still No Evidence for Russian Hacking

It is currently June. The US presidential election was in November. Why are we still hearing about potential Russian hacking even when there is a lack of evidence to support this claim? Media. Stop talking about it when you don’t have any evidence!

If the media had any sort of concrete evidence, instead of anecdotal and biased accounts, they would be shouting it from the rooftops. Every time I read the news there is at least one article that discusses some newfound “update” on the Russian scandal case. This has been happening for several months.

Media. If it was a concrete fact that the Russians hacked the election, then we wouldn’t need these small updates every couple of days. From what I can gather, the most “hacking” that the Russians have done is simple phishing scams on certain DNC officials. I’m going to let you in on a little secret, that is not hacking. Emailing someone with a scam that asks for his or her password is illegal, but to say that phishing is on the same level as hacking is disingenuous. John Podesta is an idiot for not realizing that he had been targeted by a phishing scam. Today’s schools literally have classes on how to avoid being scammed, and chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign fell for one of these tricks. Not only that, but then the DNC has the audacity to say that they were “hacked” by Russians. Please. Just shut up.

More recently, the news has been talking nonstop about the Comey firing. Is it a little bit suspicious? Yes, I will give you that. Is it enough evidence to support that fact that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians? Not at all. Currently, there is nothing that Comey has provided the public with that should be an indication that there was any sort of Russian interference in the election.

So what exactly sparked this article from me, even though this hogwash has been happening for several months? Well just today, Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said that there was no evidence of collusion in the Trump-Russia investigation. “We have no smoking gun at this point”, Warner said. Yet, the article that I read still focused on the idea that just the idea of being investigated points to the fact that something must have happened. The media is like an untrained dog with all the nonsense it is posting. Stop it media. Stop it now.
