Punching A Nazi Is Not Okay

Recently at a riot that these idiots are calling “protests”, Richard Spencer, a white supremacist, was punched for doing nothing more than expressing his opinion. This, and many other incidents, has caused many news outlets to start analyzing the idea behind “Is punching a Nazi okay?” Well I’m here to tell you that NO, IT IS NOT OKAY TO INFLICT VIOLENCE UPON ANOTHER PERSON SIMPLY FOR EXPRESSING A VIEWPOINT THAT YOU DISAGREE WITH. Can you tell I’m a bit pissed off, because I am.

Any moron who even considers the question of punching a Nazi as justifiable needs to have their brains checked. Just because you disagree with someone does not mean you can punch them! Violence is not the answer to any problem, especially when you are not in danger.

These idiotic progressives have gotten it into their head that hearing opinions that they disagree with is akin to danger. The only time when it is reasonably justified to punch someone is in self-defense. Every human being has an innate right to life and to defending themselves from harm. That is why the man who shot an attacker in self-defense during the University of Washington riots was let go with no charges. Our government recognizes the need to defend yourself, but it also recognizes the right to free speech and expression.

Fragile academia has convinced students across the US that hearing their brains can’t bear hearing certain “trigger” words, and that they have a free pass to do whatever they want if they can’t get to a “safe space”. These liberals believe that their opinion is inherently better than others whom they disagree with, and that violence is a justified reaction to disagreeance.

However, there is a problem with this kind of thinking. These morons think these kind of ideas only go one way. No! Surely anyone with a bit of sense should realize that once their opinion leaves the majority, then violence against them can be justified in the same manner. They may have the upper-hand now, but in the future who knows what opinions will be held by the majority. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” because you never know who may come into power next week. When you leave room for an open discuss, both sides can speak without much issue. When you spend your time silencing others through violence and oppression, however, don’t be surprised when it happens to you.
